We had a cozy little party on Jude's birthday consisting of simply: pizza in the park with his parents and grandparents and his aunt Allie (actually, Grandpa Tom had a meeting to attend, but Grandma Lynne was there). And of course there were cupcakes, candles, and presents. It was totally low-key and enjoyable and my little brown-eyed birthday boy was so darling. Turning two has to be one of the cutest birthdays... He's old enough to "get it" and to enjoy the festivities, but he's still so sweet easy to please.

Now you're making me feel guilty. We didn't do anything for Carson's birthday, because it was at the height of my morning sickness and I just wasn't up to it. I'll have to make up for it next year. Jude sure looks cute! You should post a preggo picture! I'm dying to see how cute you look!
P.S. Jude and Carson would be the best of friends. Carson is also obsessed with Trains and Dinosaurs.

This is so cute! Tay and I just watched this together, and we both are missing him very much. It was fun to have him here, and he actually warmed up to us quite a bit. We just love him more and more! Hopefully we'll see you soon.
